Courtesy Xbiz - RICHMOND, Calif. — The adult film actress accused of fleeing the state with a 15-year-old lover will return to California by mid-January to face criminal charges filed against her, according to her attorney. Richmond police have not yet sought statutory rape charges against 20-year-old Genevieve Elise Silva, who has retained Oakland attorney Ivan Golde in anticipation of criminal proceedings in Contra Costa Superior Court.
“In today’s society, kids are so sophisticated,” Golde said. “But clearly there are some issues here. We have two young people who, I think, need help. My sense is that both people need help to grow and to lead productive lives.”
Richmond police issued a felony arrest warrant for Silva in December after the boy’s father, who works as an administrative law judge, reported finding his son in Roosevelt, Okla., several months after he ran away from home. Richmond detective Sgt. Mitch Peixoto said the boy had developed a drug problem and currently is enrolled in an out-of-state rehabilitation program.
According to the boy, Silva’s younger brother reportedly introduced him to the porn actress. The two began a sexual relationship after the boy ran away from his home in El Sobrante, Calif., and went to live with Silva in Richmond during June. Silva and the boy then left California to stay with her mother, in Roosevelt, Okla.
